To use the 3-meter line extension (also known as an “extension”) included with the LW (light wind) kites, please follow these steps:
- Unroll your bar about 3 meters
- Loosen one of the connectors located at the end of the four flight lines (unfasten the simple loop-to-loop connection)
- Take a 3-meter line from the 3-meter line set that matches the color of the flying line from which you removed the connector
- Insert this 3-meter line between the connector and the long flying lines (using a simple loop-to-loop connection for each)
- Repeat this process with all remaining lines
Make sure you reattach all connectors to their original flying lines so that no mistakes occur when reconnecting them to the kite.
These are the connectors located at the ends of the flying lines. The loop-to-loop connection with the flying lines is always at the end where there is no black flag.
The black flag serves as a guide when untying the knot-loop connection with the kite.
